"The Mermaid Centre is there for everyone"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Breast surgery

(as a service user),

I am incredibly grateful to the skilled staff at The Mermaid Centre, and so glad to have this excellent facility in Cornwall. After I noticed a change in my breast, I was given an appointment within 4 days, and the wonderful staff have all the expertise and equipment needed to reach a diagnosis there and then. I was extremely thankful and lucky to be given the all clear, but it's very reassuring to know that the Mermaid Centre is there for everyone who needs it. The staff are all very kind and take the time to explain everything you need to know.
