"Talk Liverpool has been positively life..."

I presented to this service with very complex mental health issues which have affected my day to day life due to childhood and adult trauma. I have previously engaged in therapy some, which I was forced to pay for, outside of the NHS due to being in mental crisis. The waiting list for Talk Liverpool was a long one, due to the under funding of the service however, once I was allocated my councilor, I was set on my life changing journey.

I only wish I could have got this support 20 years ago. My councilor was totally non judgmental and empathetic, she provided coping strategies which helped me acquire a different perspective to aid my recovery.

I could not recommend this service more highly!
