"Partial nephrectomy kidney surgery."

About: Frimley Park Hospital / Urology

I recently had a partial nephrectomy at Frimley Park Hospital.

My experience was that the staff couldn't be kinder or do enough for me to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

I too was left in

Recovery as there was no space for a bed on the ward.

I found there to be no problems with privacy or dignity as the nurses were happy to let me have the curtains round at any time.

Being a vegan all the staff were very kind in sourcing food and snacks. One of my allocated nurses even ringing round the wards in the middle of the night to track down a banana!

I cannot thank the staff enough for all their care.
