"overall no complaints except for this post op..."

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute)

What I liked

my feelings were taken into account pre op and treated quickly. consultants sectretary was very helpful. Felt I was treated with respect by consultant

What could be improved

when I went for my post op check I was taken into a small room, the door was shut and I was left there for what seemed a long time. I felt vunerable and isolated..Although doctor seemed very nice I felt rushed and was not able to ask any questions and was not advised what to do do as I had concerns. I came away feeling over whelmed and now not sure how I now need to proceed with my recovery. If just 2-3 minutes longer had been spent with me I feel this was not have happened. I now feel somewhat let down.

Anything else?

Do patients really have to be taken into these consulting rooms and left there wating for the consultant with the door closed. I am I know Of others who had the same experience.
