"Aspiration during Theatre procedure"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford) / General surgery

(as a service user),

Whilst anathematised I aspirated during the operation, and ended up with my lungs being suctioned, had to be incubated, special thanks to the surgical team, including consultant anaesthetist for care during and after surgery.

But special thanks has to go to the critical care outreach team, that worked tirelessly to save my life, but being behind the scenes probably don't receive the well earned thanks that they deserve, I wouldn't be here today without them

Thank You so very much for what you did for me

We are very sorry to read of your problems during surgery, but thank you for your kind words.

We will assure that these are passed on for you and glad that you made a good recovery.
