"not my first choose of hospital but over the..."

hi.im not one to be writing reviews....to tell the truth I’m not even one to read them.. but I just had to write one for my adventure at this ten star hospital/ hotel ( if there is shush a thing)l lol.

Ok firstly to put your mind at rest I’m not employed and know of any one employed at this hospital/ hotel..... so...we’re do I begin....ok. I’m a 66 year old male...very fit for my age.only ever been to hospital one time and that was York hospital and was over 10 years ago..this was for the gastric bypass....I lost so much weight seven stone in fact which was great...only problem I had was the loose skin on my tummy...no matter what I did could not get rid of this skin... diet.gym. etc....the loose skin just would not go....so I decided..with many a ear bashing from my wife ( now know has the matron lol ) to do something about it....because knowing very little about hospitals I decided to go back to the only hospital that I know which was the York teaching hospital....this was the hospital that ten years ears previously I had my one and only operation...

any way I got to see surgeon and got booked in....after a few visits and up front payment..I was booked into the York hospital...after wait seem a yer long tome four mouths in fact I ended up at York hospital on the morning of the 18/02/2019.... at 7:00 in the morning....because of distance involved my wife and I stayed in hotel the night before...Any way go dropped off at hospital and after taking off clothes and surgeon marking my body up for the operation....and waiting in a cubicle for over nearly 3 hours was told...that the was no bed for me...no bed?.... Er sorry thought I had booked this and paid for this operation mouths ago.... not happy is all I m going to say on to this occasion..was let down badly by York hospital.....any way let’s jog on to what I’m going to tell you about the Nuffield hospital York....yes it’s a hospital...but more like a up market hotel... Iv been asked many times why I didn’t go there in first time? Well my answer to that is firstly I only know of the one hospital which I had previously stayed....and secondly is money....the way I was thinking was the Nuffield being a private hospital it would be well done truly out 9f my price range....yes I had to pay for this operation....and i had to have it not though vanity but though the pain and discomfort I had with all my weight loss.....any way has it turned out I saved over £3k by coming.....yes £3k....would you believe that..a private hospital is / was cheaper then going to a NHS hospital...... would you Adam and Eve it........ not only that I got to get my very own what I would call hotel room....my own room not a bed in a ward a room... with has much coffee.tea. And first class food ( choose of menu) has I could possibly won’t my surgeon ok I’m not sure I can mention his name but I will ..thank you to one particular staff member ..for making my stay and all that you have done for me. a true adventure Dave.
