"Terrible service at EN&T"

About: Northwick Park Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

This is the worst possible EN&T department I have been to. I will not recommend it to anyone, because I had horrible experience there. I was sent by a different hospital to EN&T ward at the Northwick Park Hospital to be seen by a consultant. I had to wait for 5 hours there and the service was terrible. No explanation from the nurses and the other staff how long you have to wait there and why you are waiting for so long. No drinking water available ( no cups) and unhelpful staff. After waiting for so long, finally I have seen the doctor in a room full of people, sitting there, no introduction, and why are there you don’t know. In a very short conversation with the doctor you are informed that they did not know about the situation and long wait. It’s seems that there’s lack of communication between the medical staff. After waiting for so long at least I was hoping that I will get an apology. Also not much discussion regarding my condition and what needs to be done in the future. I was really disappointed from this experience and I couldn’t believe that this is happening. If you need to see a EN&T specialist I will recommend you to look for a different hospital!!!

I am sorry to hear you had such a difficult time when you visited our Trust. I understand that it would have been helpful to know why the wait was so long.
