"Can you remember vaccinations?"

I was disappointed to read that you are unhappy about our child immunisation recall system. For your information we have administrative staff who regularly check our clinical systems/data reports and contact the parents/guardians of children who are due or have outstanding immunisation requirements to remind them to book appointments. Our clinical staff also use patient alerts generated via our clinical system to do this opportunistically when they see patients. As I am sure you will appreciate it is difficult for me to investigate the issue you have raised in relation to your daughter unless I have specific information. With this in mind if you would like to contact me at the practice I will be happy to investigate the matter further for you.

I was also extremely disappointed to read that you have found our reception staff rude. As a practice we always strive to provide the best service possible to our patients and we have been working very hard with all our staff to ensure we achieve this. If you are able to provide specific information where this has not been the case do let me know and I will follow this up with the staff concerned. In the meantime I will discuss the comments you have made with the reception team and ensure these issues are picked up as part of their ongoing training and development.
