All GP services are strained to breaking point across the country. At Longfeild everyone does their very best to accommodate patients needs. I hit a tough patch and was suffering mental health problems , post traumatic stress disorder and numbing emotions with alcohol misuse. They have been marvellous, I was referred to other specialist agencies and offered support and understanding. On one occasion, I didn't want to waste an appointment, I wrote to the doctor and received a prompt reply. I have progressed in the last 2 years from initially feeling suicidal to being back to work and abstinent from alcohol for the last 10 months. MANY THANKS.
