"Lack of communication"

My wife had an urgent referral for vascular, as due to a rare blood condition, her viens can burst open. From the letter I got, I was informed that I would have an appointment by the 14/05/19. Nothing has been received. On ringing the appointment line, I was told to ring South Shields hospital but of course, they don't do vascular. Rang again, was told that they couldn't find any referral. On ringing again, they found the referral, someone would ring me back, from that department, later that day, guess what no phone call, that was last Tuesday. Rang again last Thursday, they managed again to find the referral, the appointment team emailed the department again, promised another call back the same day, low and behold still waiting, This department seems to be a joke, official complaint going in, urgent referral, promised an appointment by the 14th, still waiting, no call back, nothing, disgrace,.

Anything happens to my wife, before she is seen will result in legal action.
