About: Borders General Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics (Ward 9)

(as the patient),

Most impressed, as I was here 11 years ago with my other hip. Teamwork at its best from consultant down to cleaners, who incidentally did a good job always thinking of the patients first. I hear so much complaining about the the NHS, and no doubt there are occasions when a complaint is justified, but the BGH sets a very high standard by which others can be judged. Edinburgh Royal might like to come down for some cookery lessons!
