"Its my story"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Adult Mental Health Services

(as the patient),

I just wanted to share my story and express my gratitude. After suffering for 20 years with PTSD, anxiety and being bi-polar... after some harrowing times and plummeting to depths I never dreamed were possible... South Lanarkshire's Mental Health Service's sent me an angel who saved my life. I finished treatment a few months ago.   I deliberately waited a few months before sharing my experience and writing letters of appreciation purely to validate the success of my treatment further. I feel the childhood trauma I live with is as resolved as it ever could be and resolved beyond my expectations... because I had an amazing therapist... Tracy. A name I will never forget.

Good Morning Colly wolly,

Thank you for your warm and reflective feedback regarding your experience from our mental health services. For staff within mental health to hear when they have worked alongside someone how positively this has impacted their life is heart-warming and motivational. I wish you well and once again thank you.
