My son was diagnosed with tonsillitis when we went to East Croydon walk in centre. But as a parent I was worried because 3 days of antibiotics my son was not responding hence I decided to bring my son in A&E. At the reception, I was told they were busy but I did not take long for us to be seen by a nurse. Staff nurse took the history and the health care assistance took the vital signs. Then they send us back to to the reception to wait and the wait was not too long for us. Now were attended by somebody who did not even bother to introduce themself. Ive told my worries but told me to finish the course of antibiotic and come back if on the 7th day if my son still unwell. Supportive management they said and wait for the antibiotic to kick in. I sense no emphathy from them. The worst one was, we been discharged by them and I realised that they did not assessed my son. In that treatment room were just talking and thats it.
