I had knee surgery in April. While the experience in itself was pretty unpleasant, it was made more bearable by the care and attention given.
Regrettably because I have problems with many painkillers my pain was not as controlled as I would have liked, and it seemed some of the staff ignored my request for pain relief.
Most of the nurses were friendly and treated me with respect and extreme kindness.
On Monday of this week I was admitted overnight for further problems.
The nurses were fantastic, the doctors were lovely although very busy and the ward clinic went out of her way to assist me.
Overall it would have been almost a pleasure to go into the hospital except for the pain I was in.
