For the fact that you get passed to a team who do not know what Continuing Healthcare is and that you need their lead on obtaining, to the fact no one carries out risk assessments that are true and accurate, they make their own assumptions, to not being able to get a care coordinator when you are on a specified pathway because you have waited so long for their therapy which is totally unsuitable that they then say we can’t help you. We need to discharge you. You explain that they just link in with other professionals but 6 months down the line, they still can’t, so for my own wellbeing I discharged myself and I will be looking to be referred out of area for services as it is my right to be able to do so. The crisis line, as people have said previously, treat you as if you are a child, “calm down, don’t worry, you are having a bad day”, not really what you want to hear. They also share information about you to other sections of the NHS without your consent, again, they are not allowed to do this without your permission. This is aimed at you PALS, you should not have my data from Interim Service Line Lead Manager without my consent, nor did I give my consent for my specialist to be contacted for my other conditions. They do not make reasonable adjustments if you are disabled, they do not listen to your needs even when repeated for 2.5 years and you have a psychiatrist who cannot “see the physical pathological link of why someone goes to an epilepsy clinic” when they have epilepsy. As well as “don’t giver her attention as the crisis will pass on its own”. Seriously, if you want help I suggest finding it elsewhere as these people are shocking beyond belief. Oh, and if you contact the Chief Exec don’t hold out much from him either as I got nowhere with my complaint to him!
