Broken my jaw, had to go Colchester A& E where I got told to go to Broomfield, stayed there for one night and surgery was suggested; was given the option to allow it to heal by itself but after two weeks I had to have a check up and surgery was needed. Had to wait two days for it so that weren’t good, came to the day and was told surgery at seven thirty AM ended up waiting about six hours (probably due to emergency patients) staff were really nice, helped calm me down before surgery by joking around with me whilst being wheeled over, pleasant conversations. Pretty good ward. Wouldn’t recommend breaking your jaw to go there 😂but there are worse places you could be sent too.
