"Welcoming and helpful"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Urology

(as the patient),

Everyone was welcoming and helpful. The appointment was punctual. Mr Hollins  did not  carry out the Cystoscopy as I had a urinary tract infection and he felt it could exacerbate the situation. However, he carried out an examination fore and aft and was very reassuring. The procedure has been rescheduled for later  in the month. He was excellent throughout   the examination, providing a running commentary on what he  was doing and learning. He had a student doctor present and obtained my consent to his presence and participation in the examination. At all times he did everything to avoid any embarrassment.
