Our daughter was an inpatient in October 2018 and the environment can only be likened to an asylum. I have seen better prisons. The quality of care was terrible and similar to other reviews on NHS choices. Communication was awful, we were excluded from our daughters care, the physical environment was filthy, smelly and disgusting, the food was inedible, there was no privacy or dignity, education was sub standard, limited if any activities or entertainment, no therapy, dubious clinical care and there was no safeguarding for the poor young people. Our child is still sufferring post traumatic stress from her stay.
