"Nothing was any bother to them"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Orthopaedics (Wards 10a, 10b, 10c &10d) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

Had hip replacement surgery.

Nursing staff were very professional and caring towards me through the patient journey from arriving in ward post-operatively to discharge home.

Nursing Staff were supportive and friendly and very caring towards me and a credit to nursing profession. They worked very hard in ensuring that I was pain free and comfortable too and nothing was any bother to them.

My hospital room and bed area and bathroom were of a very high standard of cleanliness

Medical staff kept me updated every morning and were helpful and informative.

Occupational Therapists in Ward 10A were fabulous and made daunting prospect of going home with new hip less stressful.

Physiotherapists were encouraging, motivating and so helpful.

Thank you all

Dear THR 0705

I was pleased to read your lovely comments about the staff you encountered during your recent surgery in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

I hope you are recovering well after your surgery and I will be sure to pass on your feedback to all the staff teams mentioned.

It is very rewarding for staff to hear such positive feedback from our patients and I'm sure they will be delighted to hear you had such a good experience.

Kind regards

Kevin
