I’ be been a patient of this surgery since the late 80’s but can't believe how bad things have become in the past 10 months ago.

I’d become used to waiting ages to get through on the phone only to be told there we no appointments for at least 2 weeks but now they can’t even get repeat prescriptions right & then blatantly lie about it.

Despite being signed up to an electronic delivery service they regularly issue paper prescriptions without notifying me so I’ve no idea it’s waiting at the surgery for collection. This week I was told my prescription couldn’t be sent electronically because of the type of medication. When I pointed out I had the same prescription electronically before I was told it was because I needed a review. When I pointed out I’d recently had a review they finally admitted their mistake but said it would still need to be collected.

When my husband went the next day to pick it up he was first told it had been posted, then that it had gone to the pharmacy opposite. Having been told by the pharmacy they didn’t have it he went back to the surgery who said they meant a different pharmacy.

They then said they’d reprint it as a favor!.

Have no confidence in any of the prescription staff & can’t get to see a doctor when I need to so I’m going to move to another surgery.
