(as the patient),

I was impressed by the care I received. Staff were friendly and considerate. All checks and tests were carried out very efficiently. The monitoring technology was impressive. The strange 'moving mattress' was a little off-putting through the night!

Dear Idonthaveascreenname,

Thank you for finding the time to feedback about your stay in hospital. I'm sorry you had to be admitted to hospital but really happy that you found the staff to be friendly and considerate and were impressed with the monitoring kit we use. I can imagine a moving mattress would be off-putting to sleep on but the mattresses are designed to be pressure relieving, so the airflow through the mattress periodically changes the mattress pressure in areas of the mattress to help prevent pressure sores and I definitely get how it would feel like its moving and be a strange sensation to sleep on.

I will pass your feedback on to all the staff on ward 21/23 and I know I speak for all the staff in hoping your making a full recovery following your hospital admission. Take care.
