"The staff went above and beyond"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Elderly Medicine (12, 14, 18, 23, 29, 30, 32, 33,35 ,39 & 53)

(as a carer),

My aunt was admitted to the ward and from the word go they were marvellous. She had a very serious leg ulcer and her mobility was very poor

The staff went above and beyond the call of duty and treated her the way we treated her.... with respect and care.  They also treated the family with the same respect and nothing was a bother to them.

I saw them handle other patients with the utmost care and respect.

My aunt unfortunately passed away with all her family around her and her extended family of the staff of ward 31. We as a family cannot express our gratitude enough. These people are worth their weight in gold.
