"Confusion as to the exact location of the clinic"

About: Bromley Healthcare / Bladder and bowel management (continence)

(as the patient),

An excellent appointment with Sue (my first with her) at Bladder & Bowel clinic.  A full review with threefold health assessments on different aspects of my current health .

One concern was (not for the first time) a confusion as to the exact location of the clinic.  The form of directions for the Wed/Fri clinics could be improved to state & advise patients to specifically pass the small waiting area at the end of the corridor, then turn right and go into the physiotherapy department, that was unoccupied when I attended. There, i feel should be a reassuring notice on the reception counter that you have arrived at the right place.

I am delighted that you appointment with Sue went so well and I will ensure that Sue herself sees your comment.

Thank you also for your thoughts regarding improvements that could be made to signpost the clinic and as you say reassurance for patients that they are sitting in the correct waiting area is essential. I will pass on your comments to the Service Lead for Bladder and Bowel who will I am sure look into any improvements that can be made.

Dear Tihati

I have spoken with the Service Lead for the Bladder and Bowel service and as a result of your feedback Rachel has checked the appointment letters and asked the administrators to reword the exact location of the clinics at Beckenham Beacon.

I do hope that this will help clients locate the clinic more easily in the future.
