"Staff were very dismissive and unkind"

The staff failed to carry out proper assessments for my sister’s pain, They let her go home in excruciating pain with no painkillers or even a thorough assessment. The nurse was uncaring and when she and my mother told her of her symptoms she had dismissed all of them saying she has time for only one problem. The nurse also showed no empathy for my sister who is 14 and in tears because of her pain. The nurse was unfriendly.When we saw the doctor - he did not even introduce himself and did not do a thorough assessment of my sisters extremen pain in the right side of her body - telling her to wait until Tuesday for a gp check up and recommended physiotherapy and a blood test. My sister is currently in bad pain and upset with this service. Never going to west middlesex again - unprofessional and certainly not the place you want to be when you are in extreme pain. The nurse was not the first person to be rude to my family member. Whilst at the consultation we have raised the nurse’s behaviour with the doctor and he did not do anything about it and said “I’m sorry I don’t know what to say” and had sent us home.
