"My daughters visit to CRH"

About: Calderdale Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

Last weekend I visited CRH with why 3 year old child who I suspected had a broken arm. First I had been to another hospital where the waiting time was around 9 hours so I presumed CRH may be a better alternative! How wrong was I! I told the other hospital I would be leaving and making my way to CRH which they said would be fine. Only to arrive at the hospital and be refused by the receptionist on duty that night! The previous hospital had not actually signed my daughter out, I asked the receptionist would she call them for me? No! She point blank refused and left a poor THREE year old in agony with her broken arm and disappeared from behind the desk after she had dealt with other patients and just left us stood in the reception area. Absolutely appalled by this woman’s attitude and behaviour.
