The staff down the phone arranging this check to the staff on the night were great, friendly and helpful. The procedure was explained to me fully with the risks included, but it was worthwhile to get this done. Some slight stomach cramps but not bad, it's an unusual position to be in having a camera up your rectum but the nursing staff made this as easy and dignified as they could. It was good to have a laugh with the nursing team, so I would recommend men to crack on with this.
