I have been having stomach problems for over a year and the nhs system seems to have lost me.
i went to see a private consultant who suggested i give a stool sample to test for pancreas problems.
This was reported as normal last august 2018.
i then receive a phone call this week to say that the sample has been incorrectly tested and can i provide another - some 7 months later!!
When i went to collect my little pot i am told the lab accidentally damaged some of that days samples so they reported them as normal.
So 7 months later i find this out, not 2 weeks or a month.
unbelievable how can i rely on any results given by this doctor, what if it was something serious?
Why hasn't this tested house been changed and the patients had a written explanation.
Also don't get me started on the ridiculous bollard on the entrance to the car park, which is a nightmare to steer round when not feeling very well. Also why is there no practice manager email address to complain directly?
"Incorrectly tested stool sample"
