"Reception staff"

About: Clinton Road Surgery

(as the patient),

I have been with this surgery since I was 18 years old and now I am 45  I have never had a problem with any doctors or staff until January 2019

I arranged to collect my repeat prescription from the chemist and was told the surgery had not done it  I called the surgery  and requested they send my prescription through the chemist this was done and sorted for me    I thought that it was one off  I was wrong the following month February I called the chemist first to see if  my prescription for Asthma pumps was ready I was told by the Chemist that the doctors surgery had not done my prescription I was told to call the surgery to get a prescription faxed over to the chemist I called and the person who answer  was rude to me on the phone

I was upset as this was the second month in a row I was having trouble  getting  my prescription  time  the person then after a fashion faxed my prescription I then called into the chemist was informed I could not have my pumps as the prescription was not signed by the doctors  I called the surgery again    very upset as I had run out of my pumps and had no spare I was told by the person on the phone I could not have a pump as I need to go into the surgery and book appointment with the asthma nurse I was then with no pumps

I asked the chemist what to do and was told to come back Saturday morning to collect a emergency pump from them was the doctors would be closed I then after a sleepless night returned to the chemist and got one pump  ( I am usually allowed two pumps a month) the following week I went to the appointment with the asthma nurse and was told I had a doctors appointment instead  but the doctor would not do a asthmas review! ! ! I told the staff I had booked and asthma review and was told I was a liar and I had booked a doctors appointment which I did not   I was very cross as I had taken time off work to go to the appointment and was not happy    the lady said she would ask the nurse to squeeze me in  I had  the appointment  and left thinking everything was sorted out

I called the chemist on the monday to arrange my repeat prescription and went to collect them on Friday At the Chemist I was informed yet again my prescription was not ready  and that the doctors had not done it again    a third month in a row  I was told to go to the doctor again to collect at another prescription which I did  this was Friday evening and as the surgery in a convert house  so this time of night  there was no parking available  so I had to park two streets away and walk to the surgery I arrived just before it closed  and I was again upset and cross

I asked the reception staff who was a fault them or the chemist I got no replay I did  say you can not do this to someone with asthma  and that withholding pumps could kill someone it they have a asthma attack  and that I was changing doctors as unhappy with the service I was receiving  I was told my the member of staff that they did not like my Attitude as was glad I was leaving I have since  changed to another Centre.   I still do not know who was at fault  I guess I never will.
