"Lap Chole day case March 19"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital / General surgery

just had my gall bladder removed, I was very nervous as I didn’t know what to expect. From booking in on the day of surgery to coming home the staff were very caring, professional and very understanding putting me at ease. Every nurse, surgeon and anaesthetist introduced themselves so I knew who they were, explained everything that was going to happen and gave me reassurance that everything would be ok. There was regular observations such as blood pressure checks and oxygen levels etc done as well as checks on my pain and pain relief given.

I would like to say thank you as it made the procedure as comfortable as possible. All the team were brilliant, can’t thank them enough.
