In my case, I went from 'normal' to being rushed by ambulance from Woking Walk In Centre to St Peters, then the Acute Cardiac ward(BACU) and then on to the cardiac team, who looked after me brilliantly. Soo much information to try and take in, and they looked after me(and my family) fabulously. They even showed patience by translating 'medi-speak' into english for me..Transferred to St George's for the actual operation, and aftercare.
Then back to St Peter's for the Rehab Programme. The ladies really looked after me, and I have found the one education session I have attended really good, and look forward to my second session later this week.
My last hospital stay was over 30 years ago, so can't speak highly enough of St Peters and the team.
