"Infection control"

About: George Eliot Hospital - Acute Services / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a friend),

I visited my sister on nason ward as my sister had been brought in by ambulance. The hospital is very old looking, ceilings have missing panels where u can see all wires just hanging everywhere.

Then actually on nason ward itself was very grubby. No hand antibacterial gel on the beds when I asked for some to nurse I was told that they have not got any left šŸ˜® then the nurse starts to do friend's OBS ... No gloves no hand gel or nothing so I stopped nurse and asked how they are doing any sort of infection control, they then became rude and walked away ten minute later returned wearing gloves.

Other people visiting ward told me they haven't seen anyone use hand gel or use gloves for months.

How hospital is still open and functioning is very alarming šŸ˜£šŸ˜•šŸ˜²
