"Visits to haematology department ."

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Clinical haematology

I have visited the department at 3monthly intervals since I was diagnosed with polycythaemia vera in October 2017. On every occasion I have been dealt with by both medical and administrative staff with efficiency, and equally important, with smiling faces .In spite of everyone being rushed off their feet, especially around New Year, nothing has been too much trouble and I am made to feel at my meetings with the medical staff that I was the only focus of their attention and that they were only too happy to deal comprehensively with any anxieties I had.

At a time when the NHS is facing enormous pressures I can only say that based on my experience I have nothing but praise and admiration.

Thank you for leaving feedback and sharing your experience. Your kind words really will mean a great to the staff in Clinical Haematology. They will be very pleased to know they have been able to help you feel supported and well cared for as this is what they aim for. They will really appreciate and be very encouraged by this.
