This was my 6th visit to the Pilgrim Hospital, my latest being on 26 March 2019, my pre-op assessment was carried out on 13 March 2019, by a very knowledgeable and professional nurse, who took the time to carefully explain to me the procedure, it was a very reassuring experience. This was complemented by 2no. nurses who took my blood, in a very caring and respective manner.
On the 26th March I attended the day case ward for my operation. I was given a very clear rundown of the Anaesthetic procedure and options by the Consultant Anaesthetist, which was very informative and she left "no stone unturned"..
I was then introduced to the Consultant Surgeon who was very patient, informative and completely "put my mind at rest"..
I had my op, was attended to brilliantly by the theatre team, whom (despite my theatrics) displayed patience and care,"which were second to none".
I was then sent to recovery, where again my care was excellent.
So, all in all, once again, the Pilgrim "has come up trumps", I was treated with, kindness, care and great humanity.......Thank you
My name is Ashoke Deo
