"Long wait on uncomfortable chairs"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Pain Management

(as the patient),

I had an appointment at pain clinic at Pilgrim hospital. I had to be there at 8.30am but wasn’t taken for treatment until 12 o clock. The 3.5 hour wait was spent sat on a waiting room chair. This really was awfully painful and in addition had to wait an hour after treatment before release, again sat on waiting room chairs.

I think the admission time could be staggered so there’s not such a long wait and high back padded chairs should be provided to sit on.

The staff and the care I received was without fault but the long wait and comfort of pain clinic patients should be addressed.
