"Excellent treatment at A&E"

I attended Whiston A&E having experienced chest pains earlier in the day, as I had a triple heart bypass 10 years ago I was reasonably concerned. The car park was quite full but I managed to find a spot and the cost worked out at £1 per hour which is not bad compared to some hospitals. The total time I spent at A&E was 3 hours and during that time I had blood pressure taken at triage, two ECG's taken with 1 hour between each, blood samples taken and a consultation with a Doctor. Considering A&E was quite busy I would say that was very efficient service. All the staff I had contact with were friendly, courteous and yet professional.

I left A&E reassured that my chest pains were not heart related and knowing that I had received the best of treatment. Fully marks Whiston.
