"Amazing experience having my baby at Victoria Hospital!"

(as the patient),

I had an elective C-Section at Victoria Hospital maternity unit and the whole experience was absolutely fabulous! Dr Tydeman and his team were fantastic! The ward nurses and midwifes were very reassuring, helpful and there when needed! They gave me invaluable advice regarding my baby's and my wellbeing, took the time to talk me through breastfeeding and looking after my baby. They always made sure I am looked after! The theatre staff were top class and made me feel safe all the time, Dr Bhaskar (anaesthetist) was very gentle and swift! 

Special thanks to Anne, Julie and Jo, and theatre nurses Suzanne and Kirsty but also all the ward and theatre staff! 

I can't be thankful enough for all the care I received during my pregnancy (thanks to Gemma and Sine - community midwifes) and the after care by NHS Fife.

I deliver lots of parenthood classes. I work as part of an antenatal team to ensure women get clear, helpful information to allow them to make choices about the care they teceive.
