"EPEC, Being a Parent"

About: Ollerton & Boughton Children's Centre

(as a volunteer/advocate),

I have just finished co-delivering the first Bring a Parent Course at the Ollerton Childre’s Centre. This course has definitely changed my family, and since sharing it with others I can see the positive impact it has. We were able to speak with other parents as peers and share the experiences of parenthood whilst giving ideas to improve family relationships.

It has been valuable to all involved and I hope to see more families benefit in future.

HI Mumm-dog

aplogies in the delay responding to your post I was on A/L a few days last week

Thanks for sharing your story

It sounds like the course has had a big impact on you as an individual and your family. The Unique selling point about this course is that it's delivered by parents for parents and I think the messages are more receptive when they are delivered in this way.

The challenge for us now is to keep you guys motivated and engaged with the programme and we have big plans to help us do this

many thanks
