"Epec being a parent course"

About: Ollerton & Boughton Children's Centre

(as a service user),

I joined the course not really knowing what it was about I left with a greater understanding of both myself and my children. The course worked on our feelings our past and present even the future. The course was easy to follow and I really learnt something every week. Skills I can apply to life as a parent. This course was brilliant I can't thank the staff enough

HI Mum of 4 J's

Thanks for sharing your story and it's great that you took so much away with you in terms of your learning.

The course is designed in such a way that it really emphasises you as a parent and how important your role is in shaping children's lives. It's very much based on reflection and like you said looking at your won child hood to help you understand how you parent.

I will ensure your positive story is passed onto our fantastic parent group leader volunteers who delivered your course
