About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Ear, Nose & Throat (ward 3b)

(as a parent/guardian),

I like to say thank you to Laura (Speech and Language Therapist) who worked with my son in Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow Ward 3A. She has done swallow assessment twice. On basis of her assessment she booked a fluoroscopy urgently. Laura kindly explained both Mom and dad in detail whole process and answered my many questions very nicely. we both mom and dad happy with the way explain all things to us. Laura kindly went with us for scan and been with us there and explain in detail all results. Mom was a bit upset but Laura helped mom to understand the results.

I like to say Thanks to Nurse Donald. He has been fantastic. He trained me how to feed my baby with NG tube. I asked him many questions and he answered all my questions. Ward did not have a medicine which we were asking Donald went an extra mile and went to another ward to find the medicine for our son. He was always on time to remind me for my son feed.

It has clearly been a difficult time for your son and your family but it is great to hear of the excellent and compassionate care you received from the whole team during this period.

It is reassuring to hear that Laura, Donald and the team in 3A were able to fully involve you in your son's care and ensure that you were communicated with throughout.
