This letter is on behalf of my wife Margaret

She was rush to St Richards Hospital by Ambulance Thursday February 14th short of breath

An x-ray showed Pulmonary Oedema she transfered from the Acute Cardiac Unit at

St Richards Hospital Chichester On Wednesday 27th February to E Wing Southampton General Hospital Having found she had Symptomatic Aortic Valve Desease

My Wife had an Aortic Valve Replacement on Monday the 4th March stayed in Cardiac

Intensive Care for four days with excellent one to one care

From the day she arrived till after her opperation and going home she had excellent care

from the Consultant Surgeons Theatre Staff to all the Nurses and Staff on E3 I T Care Unit

We can not thank all the staff enough at Southampton General Hospital and the N H S for the care she recieved of and being in formed right from the start of everything that was going on /This Opperation Saved Her Life
