"Oesophageal manometry and 24 hour pH Impedence..."

I visited Castle Hill to undergo an oesophageal manometry and 24 hour pH test. I had all the information needed to find my way to the correct Ward and was welcomed at the reception as expected.

When I went in for the procedure I was incredible nervous and petrified of the whole thing. However I was thankfully made to feel very safe and calm by the staff who cared for me. They shared their own experiences and answered all my questions. Although the testing was very unpleasant the staff let me make my own decisions the whole time and made me feel as comfortable as could be. I was genuinely looking forward to seeing them the next day as they were such lovely people!

Though I pray I never have to endure this procedure again, I know that I would be in very safe hands and not worry so much. Thank you to those who has the patience and kindness to help me through! Could not have asked for more.
