I was admitted to AMU in the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh after having initially been to the Western General hospital.
Dr King took time and care to explain everything they were doing to make me feel better, my blood pressure was extremely high and making me feel very unwell.
I was treated with kindness and respect, I noticed they treated all their patients with respect and dignity. The ward was very busy but at no time did I see or hear any of the staff complain, even during the night when I asked for a cup of tea, this was brought for me without me feeling I was being demanding or a nuisance.
I moved to Edinburgh quite recently and can honestly say that I have received far better care here than I ever did on the south coast.
Dr King and all the staff who have taken care of me - Freddy, Katherine, Paula, Jo, Katie and Natasha have treated me like royalty.
"Treated me like Royalty"
