"Not being told anything!"

About: Warwick Hospital / Diabetic medicine

(as the patient),

You go to your appointment, wait 3 hours and at the end of it all get to leave. This is how I feels whenever I go to my retinopathy appointment. The staff seem to spend more time chatting than dealing with their customers (and yes NHS workers they are customers! ). A good question that I like to ask is why am I here? Nobody seems to know! You're just a number to be pushed through a broken process. The worst of it all is that when these appointments finish and you have truly confused at least 3 nurses and 1 consultant you are left with a follow up appointment for the results! These appointment include the exact same process only 6 months later! I feel like this is a huge wast of time and waste of money!
