"This is a great improvement for me"

About: Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road Campus) Spring Hill Practice

(as a service user),

I have a metal heart valve and am on Warfarin for life. Until recently I was checked at Homerton Hospital which involved a journey of three buses. Now I am checked at The Hill Practice which is next to my home. This is a great improvement for me.

I also attend at Moorfields Eye Hospital where I have regular checks for a swelling at the back of my eye. I believe that these are helping but I find that the waiting period at the hospital is very long and I am always tempted to give up and go home as the waiting time is two to three hours, I think that the clinic appears to be overbooked.

I am glad you have found our anti-coagulation clinic convenient. I sorry to hear that you have had to wait for a long time at Moorfields Hospital-it would be good to feed this back to them when you are next there.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.
