"Tongue tie clinic"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Maternity care (Wards 47, 48 & 50) Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

I am a mother of two girls. the older is 16 months and the younger is 2 weeks. The older daughter had a cut tongue tie as she was 3 weeks old. Now my midwife called to the clinic and ordered to wait about 8 weeks for a visit. I want to breastfeed, but I can not because my daughter hurts my breasts and flies. It is unacceptable to wait so much time for an appointment.

Everywhere we see posters telling how this mother's milk is the best and at the moment you are forcing me to give me a modified milk. My older daughter was breastfed for almost a year and now I am not sure if I can breastfeed my younger daughter. At this point, I have breast infections and I need to take an antibiotic just because we still have to wait to see the clinic.

Thank you very much for this support of breastfeeding women.
