I arrived early and the investigation started on time.
The electrocardiogram technician was very pleasant, explained things in detail and answered all my questions in a reassuring way.
Then I met the treatment manager who was extremely sympathetic and reassuring.
He went out of his way to visit me at each stage of the investigation.
The treadmill test was conducted in such a way that it was almost fun.
I was impressed by the care one of the technicians took to clean the equipment after I had used it.
Unfortunately, the results were not what I hoped for but the treatment manager explained what needed to be done in a low key and sympathetic manner.
I was moved quickly to have an angiogram.
The nurses explained in a clear and friendly way what was to be done.
The doctor again explained what was to be done and the risks involved.
He filled me with confidence.
In the x-ray room the staff also explained what was going to happen.
The procedure was painless and my recovery was quick and straight forward.
Unfortunately, the results were not good but the reason for a coronary by-pass was explained in a reassuring manner.
