I attended on a Sunday morning, following my rise in temperature, and with a chronic lung condition which needs quick treatment with antibiotics. I wondered if they would think I should have waited until Monday for GP.
However, everyone was very welcoming and re- assuring , and I soon got to see both a triage nurse and then a doctor. I came away with a prescription which was exactly what I had hooped, and would have received a day later from the GP
Consequently, my condition cleared quickly, and I was able to assume normal life. Very reassuring to have this centre so near and open such long hours at weekends especially.
