"CT scan - 7 months wait"

I pretty much like this clinic at Mile End aa the team are nice.

An xray in November showed a issue in my lung and because of this, I cant yet start on thr preferred RA drug of Methotrexate.

I was referred in January for a CT.

I ve been told my appointment is on 2 July which I cannot do as am away.

I ve asked if it can be done sooner and this is not possible as this is the way the rheumatology clinic works.

I can't believe that I have to wait 7 montbs for a CT scan with all the supposed resources of Barts.. and that the consultant needs to be on site

I see my rheumatologist next, in May..tben probably in Sep. So by time i get to ralk about my ct scan it will almost be a year since the atelactasis was spotted.

That's pointless.

So much for Barts being the second biggest arthritis centre etc etc. This is well outsidw of NICE guidance surely
