"The care of my wife"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency Victoria Hospital / Cardiology

(as a relative),

My wife was passed to ward 23 from A& E once she was stable. Every one on the ward was very friendly and they immediately made her feel comfortable and took time to read her notes to see what she required. All procedures were performed with care and attention to a very high standard. The only thing that was worrying was, with the numbers on the ward it was obvious that if more nurses were on the ward it would make their life easier, and their ability to enhance their care much easier.   But, well done Ward 23 its nice to have her home again.

Dear Kathal,

Thank you for sharing on care opinion the story of your wife's admission to ward 23 here in the Victoria hospital.

While I'd never disagree that it would be great to have more nurses. It's good to read that you found the care and attention of the nursing team here on ward 23 to be of a very high standard. I will pass your wife's story onto the staff so they receive your well done.

I and all the nursing team here on Ward 23, wish your wife a full recovery following her hospital admission now that's she home again.

Take care
