Our severely autistic son attended Basingstoke hospital and what a fantastic hospital it is from the hospital liaison nurse for learning difficulties who made the transition into hospital a less stressful experience for our son and us, to the staff in the recovery room who let us stay with our son and the anaesthetists who made going under general anaesthetic so easy for him. We were treated with care and kindness...Thank you all.

We are really proud to have dedicated staff members who are able to support our patients with learning difficulties and I am so pleased to hear that this support and the whole team working together made the experience less stressful for you and your son at a difficult time.
